I took the 2 drives out of that Iomega external drive that was so noisy to be very annoying in use, so much so that I avoided using it. Once a week with the superDuper back up was the plan and I maybe did it once a month. Not very good for a back up plan. Now that I have those 2 drives along with 2 new 1TB drives I can be sure that my data is safe.

The only thing not covered now by the back up plan is if the house went up in smoke and the drobo with it. Some off site storage would be great to add. How do you back up a drobo, with another Drobo of course. I do have some back up off line with Mozy and DropBox. That is only 4GB in total though and I only put my documents in there and not the photos, music or movies, it would take too  long with my internet connection and I would have to pay for the extra space.
