Building backlinks to your pages is an essential part of SEO (short for Search Engine Optimization) for two reasons. The first reason is that it helps your pages get indexed faster, which is very important because you want the search engines to find them as soon as possible and crawl them regularly. The second reason is that it helps your pages get higher search engine rankings for the keywords of your choice. The more backlinks you have, the better. Period.

Since the beginning of the year I have been working on a new project for making money online and have had to put other things on to the back burner. I have even pod faded with the Mac20Q things. Well the fact that some family things led me to be a bit out of sorts with podcasting for a while and I have just not got back into the swing of it. Time to get back to work though. Maybe the fact that Birmingham City beat Arsenal in the League CUp Final last week got me thinking about football again. Away the Blues !!
I have the Footy Money Maker to get working with again. The NAC method is one that I am still not sure about and would like to do some paper trading with. There are couple of other things that I have been interested in that need some follow up too.
The money making thing I have been working on and I am very excited about is the writing business. I am creating web sites and following the “The Keyword Academy” method of using SEO to get the traffic to the sites. I have to write a lot of words but that is OK as I like writing. It is an excellent system and I have also been publishing to InfoBarrel and other revenue sharing sites. I have seen an increase in the income on Adsense but it is still small yet. Really needs time to grow and probably will need 12 months of work. The goal is $1000 income per month.
The Keyword Academy has some excellent tools and help available to work its system, I am very impressed with it overall. So far I have set up three sites and I will be working on another for which I have already bought the domain and set up the wordpress on the hosting. I expect to use the similar techniques to build up the traffic to the Amazing iPad site and the Mac20Q Podcast site also.
If you have any questions for me let me know – I want to hear from you about anything I am working on for making money – The writing, podcasting, betting strategies, trading on Betfair or whatever.

Steve is a professional photographer and does wedding and event photography, he uses a Mac and is a Canon guy. Steve is enjoying the new DSLR cameras that do really good video capture. He has a Canon 7D. Straight away Steve was telling me that in his area things are picking up financially and business is good. I am so pleased so see such a positive outlook after all the doom and gloom that we see too often.
The iPad is a huge help to Steve in his business as he can so easily show photos to clients using the iPad. Since he bought his he can’t put it down. Uses it all the time for business and also for games. We all have to have some fun from time to time.
In my ramble I talk about my efforts to learn some cocoa programming to be able to make Mac and idevice applications. As part of that discussion I mention the use of MacJournal which I have been trying out and liking a lot. Telefonica get a poke for being a pile of rubbish for making me use a Windows machine and Internet Exploder. Then get an extra bad mark for forcing a download of an exe program file. Very bad !!
The iPad availability Europe situation is not good as it stands at the middle of April. There was recently an announcement from Apple to say that they were not going to supply iPads to Europe for another month. The release date for the iPad for the UK, Germany, France Spain and some other European countries will not be until the end of May, with a pre-order date of 10th of May. Apple should at the very least had plans to be able to ramp up production faster if needed and as the problem stands now they should have made sure that European iPad developers could get an iPad because they need the physical device to get the apps ready and working right. Of course it is not just in Europe the iPad is not getting out the rest of the world either. Apple are bound to look after the most vocal customer base first and there local customers as in U.S. citizens. So much for there being a World Wide market now, when Apple looks after one section of its customers before the rest. Read more about the iPad and the accessories at Amazing iPad
Set up the latest beta version of Blogo on the MacBook, the licence allows up to 3 computers & the developer was helpful with my setup today!

Setting up a slide show from Flickr using Blogo and the Bookmarklet. Easy as pie I only had to choose the alignment I wanted for the slide show.
I like the look of it, I want one but don’t really need one. My wife will be getting one of these beauties though. She is a teacher and has been on the look out for something exactly like this for using with her work. She wanted a MacBook Air for the lightness of it and this is lighter. The iPad has a super looking version of Keynote on there for $10 and she can do all her information management that teachers have to do easily on this device.
Best of all – She may let me touch it from time to time, perhaps even use it?

Later today Steve Jobs will be getting on stage to tell us about his new toy for us all.
Time for all the rumours to be quashed and all the picking apart the bones of whatever Apple comes out with today. 10 inch form factor with an iPhone like interface. Will it be fast? Will it have Kindle like abilities? Will it be a game changing platform that will take the world by storm. Are you going to buy one as soon as it is in the store?
It is still all questions right now as I write this but in eight hours time there will be an explosion on the internet when every Mac fan has one topic to talk about. The iSlate, iTablet or the iPad. For sure some will be deleriously happy with the new toy and many will snipe at it, saying well it doesn’t do this or doesn’t do that. It will depend on whether the hype has been over done or not.
