Today is the holiday of St Juan here in Spain and I am working in a camp site for the summer and for the last 2 days people have been pouring into the place for a long weekend of festivities. Today will be quieter as mostly it was last night with the fireworks being set off all over the place in all of the towns.
There must have been hundreds of thousands of Euro went up in smoke last night with the number of fireworks that people had. If not millions of Euro they are not cheap to buy.
In Platja d’Aro the discos will have been heaving with the young ones and I expect that many didn’t get to their beds until 5am or later even this morning. Unless they got lucky, of course and then they might have gone back to the party afterwards.
