The dollar has dropped like a stone in the last 24 hour, nothing new there. Would be nice to be able to see these things coming and be able to ride the money on it. Gold is till on the way up. Last year I bought gold for $64 an ounce and now it is $93. I would have made more money with that than I did with my abortive attempt to be clever with Forex. I learned my lesson there anyway, I would have been OK if I had stuck with the ForexforSmarties plan I started with. – Such is life.
Anyway the thing is that I won’t be making much from the grid trading as the prices for the EUR/USD and the USD/CHF are way off and out of the grid. The profit and loss figure is still within reasonable levels though on the trade that has been running since December 12th. It started with $435 and now is up to $486 for the balance and I think it could be some time before the robot is able to trade out and start a new position. I will have to be patient and just keep earning the interest.
