Monday racing and football trading

The 80/20 tips were decimated today by the Carlisle meeting being called off, there were 2 tips at Lingfield in there and both of those placed leading to a profit of €24.16 for the day. 1.21 betting bank points. The total is still minus €17.64 overall but as I keep saying with this it is a long distance race and not a sprint. I already have the tips for tomorrow so lets see what happens.

Racing Place tips did worse today again with a – €23.53 for the day. Who knows what would have happened it Carlisle had been running??

With the football I traded the Bristol City vs Crystal Palace match and did just enough to make the 2% for the day and then left it to watch some TV. I was working it by going in and out of the market to scrape money off when I saw that the Weight of money figure indicated that there would be movement in the right direction. The final score was 1-1 with Bristol managing to get an equaliser in the last minute.

I have seen this last minute thing happen a few times lately and I wonder about placing a lay bet at the last minute to have a bet with a very small liability and a big pay out when it does come off. If I had laid Crystal Palace before the goal went in I could have got 1.02 and had a very nice pay out when the game ended with the draw.
I was trading with BinarySoft BDI for the Bristol Game and I used The Soccer Mystic from BetAngel during the game too to see how the odds were likely to move during the game, It is quite impressive and useful during a game to see how the odds can be expected to move.
