I use VideoCue and ScreenFlow from Flip4Mac and also Garageband. I even used a bit of Amadeus Pro. I really like VideoCue and this was the first time I used it so I was still finding how to make it work for me. Good for the autocue and it has some good titling screens and a green screen function. Looking forward to using that as I just bought a a green screen. I just need some lights to light the green cloth evenly. ScreenFlow is super video capture sotware which lets me capture the screen from my Mac and the do some fancy things with it like zooming in and out. Callouts to the active window and to mouse clicks. Some really sweet effects. I can even do some basic transitions with ScreenFlow also. I will be looking at showing how to do some hedging on a horse race or in a football game. I still like to work with the under 2.5 goals market in the Betting exchanges, Betfair and Betdaq. Looking forward to showing you the new software from BetAngel also. They now have a version of BetAngel that works with Betdaq. What is great about that is that until the end of the year Betdaq is giving a commission rate of 2% compared to the 5% you have to pay on winnings at Betfair. The only fly in the ointment is that the Betdaq website is not Mac friendly. But then there is the java based software that will work natively on the Mac. I will be using BetAngel for Betdaq and keep a look out for the videos. As it turned out it was easy enough to use and I even put in some transitions and a call out. Love the way I can zoom in the video to show close ups. I struggled with the final part of the production to get the size of the resulting file to a size I thought acceptable. I ended up using GarageBand to get what I wanted. In fact I was surprised when I saw the size of the file at 100 mb smaller that I expected compared to what I had been getting. The concept is different in that instead of using the Betfair odds 1.87 or 3.45 or something like that, you have zero to one hundred. The concept is different in that instead of using the Betfair odds 1.87 or 3.45 or something like that, you have zero to one hundred. The closer you get to 100 the closer you are to the event happening. 99 for example would be equivalent to 1.01 in Betfair odds. With trading you would buy at 55 for example and sell at 56 or higher to make money on the trade. Or you could sell at 66 and buy at 65 or lower to make money. It just depends on which way the money is going. For me at the start of a football game the odds head down or come in (in Betfair terms) and with BinarySoft the number goes up. What I like to do is to buy at the start of a game and take my profit at 5 or 10 minutes into the game. I even think it is a good idea to set the sell to take just a couple of ticks of profit and get out quickly. Maybe it seems a little strange just reading about the concept, it took me a while to get my head around it, but once you see it in action you will understand it better and see the logic in it.
